A thumper is a charismatic protestant Christian Zelot who pushing religion on others and only uses the King James version of the bible and is radical that they will speak in quotes from the bible and only listens to approved Christian music . Their beliefs are so extreme that they actually believe anyone who is not a charismatic Christian is a devil

Example 1 :The Thumper is on the street preaching to everyone and is waiting for YHYW to take him away . Example 2 : The thumper won't cross the street till Jesus tells him to. Example 3 : The thumper keeps quoting gibberish and won't have a logical conversion, and all I did was ask how he was doing .

A religious hypocrite whom often lashes out against others for how they live their lives but get angered if somebody else does the same. They often use biblical scriptures to justify their judgmental hypocrisy.

I remember a Bible thumper got on my case just because I like watching "Empire" on Fox & they told me how much I was bound to be sent to Hell just for liking the show.
