A hat that fits on the head as if it were an upside down bucket. Trendy amongst twenty-somethings who don't quite know where they fit in. May be emblazened with a beer logo.

The official name of one of those straw chinese hats that resemble a pointed combination of an umbrella and sombrero, worn by Rayden, a popular character in the Mortal Kombat series of video games.

No one knows what those hats are called, so everyone calls them Rayden hats.

Tinfoil Hat

The "tinfoil hat" is often a way to describe someone who's going crazy, or falling too deep into crazy internet theories. When someone tells you you're putting on a tinfoil hat, it means your going head over heels for a crazy idea.
