When a situation gets turned around during a deal gone wrong and you have something stolen from you that you were trying to sell. You may have to take a financial hit and "pay the 180". Likewise if someone is trying to sell you something and instead steals your money, if they cannot be caught you have to pay the 180. 180 as in 180 degrees.
He took the bag and drove off without giving you the money. Then he crashed and the car exploded. Looks like this time you just have to pay the 180.
