The stare people have when they are dead inside.

People who are dead inside and have a death wish will often carry an emotionless blank stare. It’s pretty creepy but that means that the person doesn’t have much to live for and is apathetic.

planet earth stare

1) The look someone has when they are completely amazed, in disbelief of, or captivated by something that it causes their eyes to open as wide as possible and their jaw to drop ever so slightly. Occurs quite frequently when watching the Discovery Channel series "Planet Earth"

2) A look of pure wonderment and amazement like when a small child sees a magic trick.

Jack: is Leighton okay? He's been watching the fire place for 45 minutes..

Andrew: yeah dude, he's fine. Hes just doing his planet earth stare. He just can't believe what he's seeing.

the bombay stare

It's where an Indian, Pakistani, asian either can't decide and/or doesn't want to pay the price they've been quoted, so they decide to stare into space. Hoping if they do it long enough that you will change the price or lower the price of the item they are trying to purchase.

Brian: Chris, Why's that indian guy just standing staring into space?
Chrs: Because i won't move on the price of the Tyres, so He's givin it The Bombay Stare hoping that he either pisses me off, or make it so awkward that i'll change the price.

Used mainly in Boat building in Australia.
