Etymology comes from the 2021 knee jerk reaction MLB and the Colorado Rockies had in response to a Marlins player saying someone was shouting the dreadful “n-word”, that only one group of people in the country are aloud to use, while they can use any derogatory term for any other group they want….wait…where was I…anyway, it turned out it was a gentleman shouting for the Rockies mascot, Dinger, to come take a picture with his son. Yet the woke Marlins player and MLB still decided to virtue signal after video evidence proved that it was indeed “Dinger” that was being yelled.
