A phrase that derives from the 2017 visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club!, in which the phrase is repeatedly used to insist that the player should only attempt to romance Monika, one of the game's characters. Additionally, the phrase is used as the name for the music that plays during the game's third act.

Most commonly used by degenerates and reprobates who think they’re quirky. Also spelled in many forms just to make sure you’re a unique “lovely jist” type of person.
