Often further developed by gaslighting because it’s not gang violence or it “could be worse.” Commonly in relation with parents, substance abuse, and the legal system. Additionally kids are often in denial or extremely defensive when someone brings up how that thing or event wasn’t normal.
A: “Remember that time dad drunk drove to your soccer game and got into a screaming match with grandma?”
