Metro Station is a synthpop band from Hollywood, California, signed to Columbia/Red Ink Records1 and best known for their top-ten hit "Shake It". The band consists of four members, Mason Musso (vocals, guitar), Trace Cyrus (guitar, vocals), Blake Healy (keyboards, synthesizer), and Anthony Improgo (percussion).
Metro Station was started by Musso and Cyrus in 2006 after their mothers introduced them to each other on the set of Hannah Montana, since Musso's brother, Mitchel, and Cyrus's sister, Miley, are on Hannah Montana. Since they both shared musical interests, they decided to use it in the creation of a band. Shortly thereafter, Cyrus recruited Blake Healy from Synthetic Joy as a keyboardist and synthesizer, while Musso remained the lead vocalist and Cyrus the lead guitarist. The trio together recorded the demo track "Seventeen Forever", which they released on their MySpace Music website. The track gained the attention of percussionist Anthony Improgo, who was soon added as the band's drummer. Their popularity on MySpace Music grew, topping the MySpace Music Unsigned Band's charts. An intern in Columbia Records' Walking Eye program discovered the band while looking through the MySpace Music charts, and they were signed shortly thereafter.2
In the July 2007 issue of Alternative Press, an indie music magazine, Metro Station was listed as one of the "22 Best Underground Bands (That Likely Won't Stay Underground for Long)".3

Get the Electrical Stationmug. A 'Sloth Station' is when a mattress is placed in front of a TV in the living room. The Sloth Station usually sucks you in, causing sudden shifts of mood, Increased heart rate, high amounts of euphoria and increased levels of extreme laziness. A Sloth Station can last in front of the tv for weeks and sometimes even months. If you find yourself slothing on the station you are probably at the lowest point of your life, and are probably regretting the zinger box you just eat aswell. The sloth station is life but also a disease. It is usually comes out after a big weekend on the whipper.

South Huntington and Huntington station are very different , Huntington station is the ghetto part w lots of gangs , mainly a gang called Station or oss standing for old station soldier , many other refer to it as LBG a gang started on most likely the worst area of Huntington called lownes ave , MS is highly open by areas such as manor . South side of Huntington is much better but still gangs from there such as south side possy, more gangs include almighty a mostly teenage gang . This area of Long Island can be very dangerous if your at the wrong place wrong time . Gun violence is rare it’s mostly knives and fighting out there , greenlawn a very hot area resides the biggest gangstas in Huntington I advise you not to live here unless you are fit for the lifestyle .
