I created this term because the terms "mansplaining" and "femsplaining" are used too lightly and are sexist terms in their own right. Condescension and sexism are both gender neutral so the word for condescension driven by a sexist standpoint should also be gender neutral.

Condescension and sexism are both gender neutral so the word for condescension driven by a sexist standpoint should also be gender neutral. Also it is possible to be dismissive and patronising toward someone because of their gender without necessarily explaining something to them. This word can apply to dismissive behaviour and the idea of sexist explaining.
