Journalistic abbreviation for 'tits-and-ass,' used when the complete phrase would be out of character for the piece.

The much-hyped, big-budget Super Bowl commercials always offer something to gag over - the Pepsi spots featuring the teen bimbo pop singer of the moment; the beer ads that pretend to make fun of sexist t-and-a beer ads by, well, showing lots of t-and-a.

You will always love him but the circumstances do not allow you to have a true relationship so you treasure the intimate times you share but know you cannot get fully attached. wing and a prayer airlines

A less than major airline where "white-knuckeling" and bottom shelf tequila are necessary survival tactics. Ozark Air (OzArk), Bucket-O-Bolts Airlines (BOBA) and Parachutes Optional Airtravel (POA) are all fine examples of this genre of airline quality-of-service. Usually trying to provide service to the midwest and/or bible belt, but failing badly.

When my wife walked out because I wouldn't help her becuase I thought what she was doing was wrong. She gave me the choice to change my mind and follow her, if I really loved her, or sit at home and never see her again. I was really stuck between a rock and a hard place.

An Englishman, Irishman and a Scotsman

A collection of jokes known mostly by residents of the United Kingdom which involve a man from England, Scotland and Ireland. The jokes are commonly long and end up with the Irishman being made a fool of or making the pun of the joke.

The jokes rarely involve Wales. Lucky Buggers.

An Englishman, Irishman and a Scotsman are all invited to a Christmas party. In order to get into the party, they must bring something relevant with Christmas. On the day, the Scotsman turns up with a Christmas tree, so he is allowed in. The Englishman turns up and brings a cracker, so he allowed in aswell. Eventually the Irishman turns up also, holding a pair of ladies underwear. The guard at the door asks him, "What have they got to do with Christmas?"

The Irishman replies, "They're Carols".
