Another lie to cover up a previous lie that was detected.

A mild way of saying you are a liar.

I bought this item from this shop.... Boom! The shop doesn't know about it's existence.... Oooh! A delivery guy just brought it to me not quite long... I ordered it online.

Are u fucking kidding me? That's a complimentary lie... You want me to believe that shit!

Compliment Farm

Post or thread on social media created solely to garner positive attention and validation. Often these "compliment farms" will pose under the guise of vulnerable or marginalized individuals seeking help or support. These "compliment farmers" will pretend to suffer from real issues or dilemmas, such as body dysmorphic disorder, to inspire agreements, head pats (and OF link views) from their audience.

Q: "Awww man this girl posted in /r/amiugly and she is maybe a 10/10. Isn't that sad?"
A: "Its probably a compliment farm - look at her post history."
Q: "Yea, im seeing some thirstrappyness here. Belongs in /r/ValidateMe"

Compliment Inflation

When a person (typically a girl), receives so many compliments that the value of successive compliments decrease.

John: Ava, you’re so pretty!

Ava: Okay

John: Do you not like it when I say that?

Ava: No, it’s just that I get told I’m pretty all the time so the compliment doesn’t feel as special.

John: Oh I see, being called pretty has lost it’s effect due to compliment inflation.
