John Mayer Disorder

Abbreviated with the acronym JMD, it is a mental state of being when one hears a song and devolops a liking for it, but abruptly changes their feelings about the song upon hearing the name of the artist or group who preforms the song. Getting it's name originally from the reaction by people first listening to the songs produced by artst John Mayer, but has and can be used for other groups and artists.

Jen: Hey, I like this song! Who sings this?
Sara: Lady Antebellum.
Jen: Oh. Turn it off.
Sara: I thought you liked it?
Jen: I can't now, it's classic John Mayer Disorder.

I was surprised by just how much the ladies seem to love my mangerie, like that sheer-pouched thong, this silk robe, and especially my French-back yoke-front drawers, which are the only skivvies I've ever had literally ripped from my body by an exceedingly aroused woman -- which in retrospect was well worth the $25 it cost me to replace them!

Applied to a moment of extreme ditziness, generally without realising how stupid you sound/act.

4 people are ordering a pizza.
A: "Do you fancy a Margerita pizza? But with extra cheese?"
B, becoming confused between a Margerita Pizza and a Margerita cocktail, replies, "There's no cheese in a Margerita! Only lime and salt..."
Then the realisation that they are idiots dawns.
