Despite having many commendable and impressive qualities, Luigi is never quite able to step out of Mario’s shadow, possibly due to the latter’s majestic beard game and Mediterranean looks. Luigi is an accomplished plummer with much experience in pipes, hence the catchphrase ‘oh yeah’ and membership of the smash bros. Despite in many ways being Mario’s bitch, there is much to admire about Luigi in his generosity, honesty and good craic, although there is room to improve in his communication skills.
