The Hatmaker effect is what happens when a guy falls hard for a girl that is gorgeous, funny, sweet and just all around amazperfectness. Once the Hatmaker effect has taken ahold of you i would advise to just let it happen. Side effects include deep emotions for a girl, wanting to do something special for them as much as possible, loss of appetite, constant dreams of her, and perhaps on rare occasions the sharing of a furry friend between you and a girl. The Hatmaker Effect has no cure and will stay with you until the end of time.
Christopher: Bro i cant eat and i have been having these weird dreams about a girl. Whats wrong with me?
Luke: It sounds like the Hatmaker effect to me bro.

When an artist drops multiple versions of the same song (Sped up, Slowed down, Reversed, Etc.)
The reason why it's called the DDG Effect is due to the Rapper DDG Dropping his song I'm Geekin 17 times

The Eastman Effect is when you are called gay on the street by a homeless man and out of fear of a potentially awkward conversation you are FORCED to produce $2o :(
Guy 1: I was walking down Gibbs st. when the Eastman Effect happened to me again!
Guy 2: WOW! Thats the third time today man! This is very unfortunate, you shouldn't be allowed to have money.

Ridicule Effect occurs when a person's statement or belief system is so outlandish or bizarre that others make fun of it and the speaker, thereby diminishing the speaker's credibility and intellectual ability, usually permanently.
Defined in book "Just Kidding" by Louis Franzini, published by Rowman & Littlefield (2012).

Former U.S. Vice-President Dan Quayle made innumerable "misstatements" which ultimately evaporated his legitimacy and future officeholding, due to the Ridicule Effect. For example, "We are ready for any unforeseen event that may or may not occur."
