Gaper

A Skier or Snowboard who is usually not respected by many people in life, but thinks he/she will find that closure on the mtn, But really looks like a complete tool. Ski/ride with the latest gear. Paid for by their parents credit card (even tho they r in their late 20's to early 30's). Usually they only stay at high-end hotels mostly ski on ski off, they only go to the most popular resorts cause thats where they feel they would get the most respect out of there many Facebook updates throughout the day. There Facebook will usually read "hitting the craziest trail/obstacles" But in reality taking the easiest way down, or just completely bombin every trail.

Gaper Gates

Gaper Gates are swarms of rookie skiiers which clog narrow parts of the ski runs, usually toward the end of the day when everyone is getting off the mountain. Mostly annoying, they can be fun to slalom as you pass through.

Gapers usually take it in the ass everynight and stand on the landing of the jump pissing everyone off or rolls over the jumps and attempts to hit rails but falls and doesnt know how to put their skis back on....Fucking Gapers

Adjective. A male or female who would rather stare at the scenery then ride (ski or snowboard) the hill. Gapers can cause congestion at crucial intersections and sometimes get dealt with accordingly.
