Deaftone

A tone in a song that cannot be heard by your conscience but can be heard by your sub-conscience which has the ability to manipulate your behavior.

I picked up a deaftone in my favorite song by listening very hard to it over and over.

deafinition

Refers to the assorted stipulations that determines if someone is completely hearing-impaired.

Different people have different deafinitions of hearing-loss... some unfortunates actually cannot hear anything at all, while others have a unique "selective" ear-disorder that only prevents them from hearing anything that's less-than-desirable (i.e., "The lawn needs mowing" or "It's you turn to do the dishes tonight"), but they can hear "welcome" remarks (i.e., "Dinner's ready" or "Let's have sex") perfectly fine.

deafamation

Derogatory/critical remarks/claims made in the presence of the person whom you're throwing under the bus, with the assumption that said criticized individual will not know what you're saying due to hearing-impairment.

A good example of deafamation's "coming back to bite you" is the classic humorous tale of the old fella who got a hearing-aid without his family's knowledge, and then he was able to repeatedly change his will while surreptitiously listening to the conversations of said family-members, since he now knew what they really thought of him and what their future plans were to spend whatever assets he'd originally been planning to leave to them.

Deaf Dumb means to have absolutely no sense of direction. To the point that the nonsense that being examed is almost deafening, it's just like wha--, what he just say, what she just do?
