God damn it. Before I say this, I'll have you know that I'm an 80's metalhead. In the 80's, such rappers as Public Enemy, Run D.M.C, and LLCoolJ graced the rap scene. Nowadays, such shit such as 50 Cent, JayZ, and 2pac (who, even after his death, somehow manages to release albums) attacks the charts with the pasteurized shit they call music.
Rap was an alright form of music in the 80s, until people such as 50 Cent, even after they are no longer on the street and dirt poor, still sing about it. What the hell?

Rap is not even music. It's a pointless style of "poetry" and talking. A moron can rap. It takes a genius to play and write classical music, the real type of music.

In my opinion, rap is the least musical form of music, and requires the least talent. I have listened to many forms of rap music, and not just what gets played on mtv, and really think that the only talent that rappers have is songwriting. I feel that they would get the respect they deserve if they took the time to learn to play an instrument. 50 cent is probably one of the most famous rappers, yet he has no talent, but yet people like Yngwie Malmsteen, and Brian Carrol (Buckethead) go almost unrecognized even though they spent a shit-load of time learning to kick total ass at the guitar.
