Large-scale practice of committee mentality within a corporate entity, (see corporate personhood).

To my phone company: You reassigned this phone number to me 6 months after you took it away from the deadbeat who didn't pay his phone bill. Why can't you understand that it's no longer his phone number? Just because you can't find him, is no cause to harass me!

Another person to his phone company: Of course I received your message that the replacement for my broken phone is ready to pick up - just as soon as I got the replacement phone and checked for messages.

Me to the Yellow Pages publisher: Of course I wanted to be listed in the yellow pages under my business name. You offered me a listing in the Yellow Pages because I'm listed as a business in the white pages didn't you? Do you see anyone else listed in the Yellow Pages by their personal name?

Herding Mentality

Pertaining to the mindset many people have, the need to be near other people (even strangers), often at the disappointment of the strangers/foreign group.

OR

How large numbers of people act in the same ways at the same times.

Parking your car in a space directly next to another, when the entire lot is empty. Also may be used effectively to describe a group's behavior when choosing a spot on an empty beach. If they lay their blanket within a few feet of you, they have demonstrated the herding mentality.

"Did you see where they just put their blanket?! It's practically on top of ours and the ENTIRE beach is empty."

"They totally have the herding mentality."

Eric Mentality

When you know that you lack any/everything needed to get a female, but you accept it whole heartedly.

When your looks, personality, ect, are lacking and you make up for it with an optomistic view of yourself, hoping that will change others opinion on you as well.

I have to use the "Eric Mentality", I kno I'm ugly, that's why I'm nice to girls. Than I hope for the best.

Look at this guy he must have that "Eric Mentality", he knows he can't get her number, but he keeps talking hoping she will change her mind, even though his looks aren't going to change. lol

Mac mentality

The mentality someone gains after purchasing an Apple product that everyone who doesnt use said products are troglodytes and therefore subhuman. PC's, Blackberrys and Android are mere sticks and stones compared to your angelic devices.

Dale: Hey there's Angie! Want me to pick her up?

Tucker: Nah, let's just go to the mall.

Dale: I thought you two were friends? Something happen?

Tucker: She developed the Mac mentality after her parents got her her iPhone and Macbook. She doesnt even acknowledge me anymore since all I have is this Android phone.
