A term used when someone is wearing really ugly pants. Referring to a Grandma's ugly couch, a person may say who shot the couch? Indicating that that person is wearing ugly pants. Who shot the couch can be used in many other ways. For example: Nice shirt, who shot the couch? and many more ways to express ugly things.

Adj. (1) phrase describing a drunk person. Canadians sometimes say "half in the bag." Those from the states, especially in larger cities prefer, "Half shot in the ass."

PS One hopes the provenance of this perhaps somewhat dated colloquialism was not an ugly sexual allusion to the male orgasm (back in the 50's when scumbag was an ugly slang term for condom) but at the time if it was, it did not seem to be generally thought of as such. But looking back, I dunno.
