1. originated as a way of saying JK in spanish which was the popular way of saying Just Kidding on aim.

Hota - J
Ka - K
Hota Ka! = JK!

2. later transformed to mean anything, and can be used in any situation. Mostly used at times of releasing anger and frustration or in a state of shock. Same as "oh my gosh".

Word came from Centreville, VA in the korean community where a majority of korean teens take spanish as a language elective. Started by the Power Rangers of YSKPC.

Onomatopoeia of a headboard repeatedly striking a wall, ostensibly due to people fucking in the bed that holds said headboard.

I couldn't sleep last night because Jared and his girlfriend in the apartment next to mine were fucking for most of the night. All I heard was "ka-thunk, ka-thunk, ka-thunk", punctuated by an occasional moan or loud request for one party to fuck the other one harder. I let the air out of that faggot's tires for that.
