Actually, the term is 'boot out'...! But, it's a common mistake to use it as 'boot'. The term: boot - means to kick someone out from the messenger or client he is using. When we boot someone(on Yahoo messenger, Yahelite, Yaheh, Ymlite, Yazak, etc) actually we send a lot of messages to him which might freeze his computer; thus forcing him to restart it. This process is called booting.
Note: we use 'bots' to boot somone out. Bot means a 'Yahoo ID'. So, bots mean 'Yahoo IDs'. You might say that the term 'bot' is the slang of the term 'ID'. Because, when IDs are created to disturb someone, they are referred as 'bots'.

A: Some moron has been booting me for a long time. It's consummate irritating.
B: Well, I would rather you to use some anti-booter or some client.
A: Now, what the heck is client?
B: Well, loosely speaking, client is a program which helps a lot againt booting. Alteast, it doesn't let bots hang your computer; hence you don't need to restart it. The best clients are Ymlite and Yazak...! They not only protect you, but are almost unbootable...!
A: That's cool! From where can I get these softwares?
B: Come on, man! Use your useless brain...! Just google them...! Hehe...

Person 1: "Do you think your older brother will boot for us tomorrow night?"
Person 2: "I don't know, man, he's sick of being our only boot in town."
