Too popular for it’s own good, UD’s owners’ no doubt became overwhelmed with its potential for self-promotion and capital generation. Now, after every definition readers are reminded that someone is making money off their "user generated" dialogue. Even “Teabaggin” can be turned into a commodity - a side of subcultural slang now available with your morning coffee.

Get the def jam awkwardmug. Originated in the 90's. Made by a poet/rapper named Mos Def. Def means Definate which was first used by Run-DMC. Around the 90's there was Def Jam, a company that influenced Rap, Comedy and many other things. Also a video game featuring people signed on the Def Jam label.
