Usually seen in the form of a ‘lanyard’. Worn by employees usually to show that they are an employee or as it contains a metric for security or monitoring i.e. identity card/swipe card.

It’s how corporations tag their employees.

The supervisor walked over waving her lanyard, thinking it made her look important. She didn’t realise that it wasn’t a badge of authority but rather it was a necklace of oppression.

Derived from the term "Heckler", Neckler is a play-on-words combining the words "Heckler" and "Neckbeard" to describe an anonymous (Usually with an Anime profile picture) individual whom inhabits a Social network or a Social media platform (Take Discord or Youtube for example) strictly for the purpose of misusing the "Comments" function for inappropriate and hurtful usage, most commonly to correct a single word that someone may have misspelled for the soul purpose of being an annoyance or a nuisance.

Example: "Well It's actually spelled like sole purpose and not soul purpose you fucking retard." That is the perfect example of a Neckler
