Those fuckers called me to gang up on me and didn't give me warning it was a conference call. They ambushed me.

ambulance chaser

the natural born enemy of physicians everywhere. a huge reason why healthcare in, for example, Pennsylvania is worse in every manner than in California. a terrible bastardization of the justice system, they hope for a lottery, shotgunning all parties involved in a particular accident in the hopes that one of these days they'll hit the jackpot. this takes away resources from people who have real claims as well as from hospitals/managed-care companies that are forced to charge more.

A: So what do you do for a living?
B: I'm a general surgeon.
A: No way! Wow, so you must make a lot of money!
B: You'd think so. My gross income is about $250K/yr pretax, but end up throwing 50% of it to malpractice insurance.
A: Wow, so doctors aren't really that greedy?
B: Generally not. In fact, if people didn't subscribe to ambulance chasers as important sources of justice, that would bring down my malpractice insurance, allowing me to see more patients while lowering my fees.

While whistling a song or melody, the ambush whistler will hear you and whether consciously or subconsciously start to whistle a completely different tune causing you to become distracted and off-key. Common in the workplace, it is also known to happen during elevator rides, cook outs and lawn work.

ambush wedding

A "Trojan" or "Ambush Wedding" is a surprise wedding thrown by the bride and groom on their unexpected guests. Often disguised as an invite to a casual event, or after having a simple get-together; the couple shocks the whole host with a wedding on the spot. It is a new alternative to an elopement.

The Mr and I had an ambush wedding last year! Literally the week before the one on "Girls." We invited everyone for a clambake at our new house, and before lunch was served I went inside, changed into a dress, and came out saying, "We're going to get married! Right now!" The best part was when my husband asked his nephew to be his best man. It took our nephew a few seconds to understand that the Mr meant right then. I thought it was super—we had a gorgeous cake and flowers hidden in the house to bring out for the celebration. It was low stress and fun

2. A person who follows people around a casino. They watch them loose a considerable amount of money in a slot machine and then plays the machine immediately after the person leaves with the idea that the machine will soon hit a jackpot.

That frickin Bruce just won 750 bucks on the same machine I just lost 200 bucks to. He is a dirty ambulance chaser.
