Someone who plays runescape all day and brags about it at school. Also has poor social skills. Doesn't know the difference between a nerd and a geek. Can be smart but a big asshole. They try to act smart by saying that they don't study for tests. Sits in an awkward sitting stance.

Geek: I just got call of duty black ops today.

Nerd: FPS GAMES ARE STUPID! runescape is way better then that stupid game.

Geek:BULL SHIZ!

Nerd: Runescape is more popular than call of duty!

Geek: Most of Runescape's players are stupid 10 year old european kids and nerds like you!

Most nerds find pleasure in games such as, but not limited to: Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40K, and HeroClix. Being a Nerd does not need a far superior IQ, but the common sense to not join gangs or break your skull in football. Nerds not to be confused with losers actually have a life.
