Promposing

Most often done around spring time, it is the act of asking someone to go to the prom with you.

It is a challenge every year to think up better and better ways to prompose.

Jack: Hey are you and Liz going to the prom next month?

Doug: Yeah man, I plan on promposing tomorrow morning on the PA.

Pre-Proposal

WHY
In a society where Engagement Proposals are heavily pressured for one sex to orchestrate a grand gesturing production to their significant other (S.O), the ‘PRE-PROPOSAL' acts as the antecedent event that can lead a couple to a successful, happy -and fair- relationship long term.

HOW
A Pre-Proposal occurs when one sex (often the female, or one who is expecting to be Proposed to) proclaims their love for their S.O, and also announces that they are primed and ready to receive a future Proposal.

Like it’s proceeding event, the Pre-Proposal CAN be an orchestrated production delivered to the S.O. Once the Pre-Proposal is presented (and accepted!), the receiving party has 365 days to appropriately reciprocate a Proposal.

Here are the following relationship benefits of practicing the Pre-Proposal:

1. One party alerting that their souls are ready for future potential engagement-acceptance.
2. Both parties enjoy the thrill, joy, stress, schemes, awesomeness of both delivering and receiving a pre/proposal plan.
3. Deterrence of unnecessary Proposal costs and/or embarrassment IF couples are not in relationship compatibility

Ie. Lateefa has known all along that she wanted to be married to John. Societal pressures have Lateefa unsure of WHEN and IF John will be proposing to her. Lateefa also feels like John should be shown how much he means to Lateefa. She prepares a moderately well schemed plan as Pre-Proposal to John, and with much success, John was so happy, moved, and proposedly-informed that he Proposed to Lateefa < 365 days later. #love

OMG She finally Pre-Proposed to him! He's got a year now to drum up something special back to her ;)

He/She’s locked up ever since XXX Pre-Proposed to them.

I was surprised at being Pre-Proposed to since I actually never liked XXX. Now we save X amount in time and money.

That Pre-Proposal was an incredible experience. I feel so loved by their gesture and can’t wait to surprise them with a Proposal of my own.

The exhibition of respect or recognition owed to someone for having performed a certain deed or task worthy of such praise. This is normally exhibited by the giver of the props'raising his fist to knock it gently against the fist of that whom is receiving the 'props'. For extraordinary deeds offering even more than usual praise, "mad props" can be used
