Banter Clique

A group of people who express much banter with each other more regularly and intensely than others in the same surrounding area. Typically made up of young males, with one member of the group usually being of Chinese decent.

John, I was in the office today and the lads in blue corner were getting particularly rowdy and expressing a series of teasing remarks. I believe they have formed a banter clique. I will contact HR.

It’s just banter innit

This basically means ‘I’m just joking, don’t take it seriously’ or ‘it’s just for laughs, I wasn’t serious’.
When you joke about something and someone gets offended, use this phrase 😌💅🏽
