They are also paired with Mfantsipim School, simply known as Botwe which is an all male Senior High School, also known for its prestige and excellence in producing men of value. Students of Wesley Girls are usually in competition with no one but themselves to become reliable future problem solvers that the world really needs. It is interesting to note that because of how successful products of the school are, a few schools have changed their names and adopted names such as Kumasi Wesley Girls , Accra Wesley Girls etc. It is truly an honor when one has their name attached to Wesley Girls High School as it shapes the younger generation into successful and hardworking role models that everyone can look up to. Gatsby girl

Named after the character Jay Gatsby from F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby". A Gatsby Girl is a social climber, a woman with a lot of money or not enough. She can be found in hotel bars, expensive resorts and department stores. She will be a bit introverted, very superficial and have very few friends. Rumours that circulate around her make her out to be some kind of mysterious superhero or supervillain. In fact, she is quite shallow and confused.

The new marketing executive at work is such a "Gatsby girl". I heard she snared the CEO and that they spent New Years in Costa Rica. I can't stand her, she's so fake.
