verb - meaning to use better tactics than one's opponent. Most common context is in football/soccer.

First used by British football manager Sam Allardyce, who was pleased when he "out-tacticed" then Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

Metaphorically: To sum up and conclude a transaction or relationship.
