Poser

An intravert seen as an extrovert is posing as an extrovert. Allowing people to see you as or representing yourself as an extrovert when you're not an extrovert is posing rather than being yourself.

There are a lot of characters on tv shows people think of as extroverted people in real life. The same goes for the news and different forms of media, the internet, music. A poser is somebody you think is a certain way naturally based on what you'be seen and heard through a media source.

1.Someone who pretends to like a certain thing to amuse a certain crowd.
2.Someone who pretends to like something they know little about just because there friends or people they know like it.

Person one: "Dude did you hear about Daft Punks new album?
Person two: "What new album?"
Person one: "There new album it was so overhyped! It's called Random Access
Memories!"
Person two: "Oh yeah! That one!"
Person one: Yeah! Don't you love Get Lucky?
Person two: "Yeah I know I listed to it like 100 times! Which album is it
From again?"
Person one: "Dude.... Your such a poser."

A kid who is usually a loser, so they try to act and dress like other people to become popular. They will pretend they can do things like skateboarding or bmx, but when asked to show you they will say they don't feel like it. They will also listen to the same music as everyone else when last week they listened to classical music. They often say they like the artists their friends like but can't name any of their songs.

Jeff: Look at Jim over there, he wears Element shirts and Dc shoes... he probably can't even skate
Alexander: Don't worry about that poser.

A young, pale, male usually in teenage years who gets destroyed by people who compose better English than he does. Also, one who creeps on multiple facebook profiles and statuses.

One who changes their personailty, attitude, and looks based on an influence. The person can also be considered fake. If a sport is involved, a poser may pretend to be good at it. If a clique is involved, the poser may adapt the steriotype style of the clique. Posers are widely disliked throughout... everywhere.

Chris: Dude that fatass Mike can't seriously skate, why does he even try?
Sean: Dude, because he's the biggest poser I know
