Posers who are:
Emo, because they listen to Busted and completely cover their face with their hair.
Goth, because they wear all black and want to kill their parents.
Gangsta, because they wear hoodies and chains
Metal, because they listen to My Chemical Romance and are all "aggress-shive"
Punk, because they are stupid
and Indie, because they listen to some band nobody has ever heard of, possibly made up

They also wear Mac make up which their parents pay for and are vegetarian because it's cool.

They are the new version of the prep. Don't worry kids, like the prep, the scenester will die out after college once they realise their parents can't buy them a job and will refuse to pay for their Mac make up.

1) Scenester: OMG!!! He is so the SEX!!!

Normal person: Ooh! His pants look really tight, that can't be comfortable.

Scenester: He's just individual

Normal person: The guy next to him is wearing the same thing

2) Scenester: I'm so goth

Goth: Who's your favourite band?

Scenester: Morbid angel, they are the SEX

Goth: That's death metal not gothic. Why not try Joy Division

Scenester: But they are not the SEX

3) She thinks she's so scene because her username is "I-HAV-A-FUKIN-SEXY-HXC-CUNT"

Scenester is another term like emo used against particular teens for their taste in clothes and music. People have decided that scenesters are arrogant and think they're cooler than everyone else, why they think this? Who knows, probably jealously. Either way it's just another perfectly exceptable taste thats ridiculed and disrespected...great.

Boy 1: Urgh look at that scenester he's wearing tight trousers
Boy 2: And...? What?
Boy 1: I don't know, i just think it's urgh
Boy 2: Oh well, you've shown me
Boy 1: Yeah i know, i'm a stereotypical idiot
Boy 2: Yeah cause you're a disrespectful loser

Scenester

A scenester is someone that decides to dress according to what they think is original, but is only what a genre of music, mainly techno and punk rock, put out as the norm.

How to tell a scenester if you ever are in doubt:
-Must have a fully edited myspace, often with hearts or music backgrounds.
-Mentions robots, indie bands, techno bands, any other band name that they listen to no matter how obscure, and expect you to know what they are on about.
-Proclaims to the world when they get drunk because they think it makes themselves appear cooler.
-Very condescending towards others.
-Takes photos of self in mirror, in sunnies, in bikinis, from above, of boobs, of self doing things that are illegal.
-Uses pointless slang words like chu, fk, cnt, yu, r, wht, shu, hru, srs.
-Always talks themselves up, saying they get hit on all the time.
-Uses a computer program to edit photos to add hearts and other useless shit to them.
-Desperately wants the world to give them attention, whilst still remaining hated by everyone.

Man 1: Shit, is that Liz.V i see over there in the distance?
Man 2: Doesnt look like it, just some scenester poser with no life taking photos of herself.
Man 1: Yeah thats what i meant.
