Travis AKA Rattlesnake started training when he was 6 years old. His first trainer was his grandfather then eventually his dad took over the training. He won multiple championships in his amateur career. He done his training out of West Wood, Kentucky.

Travis got his nickname Rattlesnake because he was actually bit by a Rattlesnake at the age of 5 years old

In Travis professional career., he is actually was the youngest state champion in history.

He has taken the title of WBF Intercontinental light heavy weight championship. When Travis dropped down to 168 lbs he took the title of WBF super middle-weight world champion
