When something is good, or went well as in "it all went Skippy" or "well that's Skippy" it was a term that was coined in the late 90's in areas of North Western America.

I went to a party last night and the food there was pretty Skippy.

"Damn Skippy" is an older version of "Fuckin A" or "Word." It is usually a reply to a concise statement summarizing a troublesome situation.

as in, "This fire is gonna spread and we need a plan." 'Damn skippy we do.'
