A group of people who listen to great music but are under the mistaken belief that they dress in a unique manner, when actually they look the same as the other 2 million or so other grungers who all believe themselves 'different' also.

Wearing jeans that are so long they collect water from the puddles and soak to the knees is NOT cool, I don't think Kurt Cobain ever did it either.

Post-Grunge

A made-up music genre created by bored moronic suit and ties at record labels, radio stations, and MTV so that everyone can clamor on to another phony genre.
Bands like Three Doors Down, Hinder, Nickelback, Creed, Saliva, Three Days Grace, Godsmack, etc. all use the word to avoid being called metal, which they really are, but a really bad, sucky dumbed down version of it.

Hinder is not a Post-grunge band, but a hair band without the hair
Godsmack is not a post-grunge band, but a metal band with their instruments tuned down.
Daughty not a post-grunge band, but a Bon Jovi/Nickelback wanna-be.
Nickelback is not a post-grunge band, but a Bon Jovi Wanna-be.
Post-grunge is genre that doesn't exist.

a grunger is a kool person, who listens to good music and wears clothes clothes that arent 4 sizes too small.Townies however wear clothes that have gay logos on them sayin princess or cute, even though i have never heard of a princess who smokes like a chimey, and says 'arigh' or 'innit'. Grungers dont need to impress people, and are all individuals, unlike townies who look like clones of each other, grungers arent tramps or dirty just because their clothes arent pink or blue. point made.

Grunger

Grunger is a common slang term given to anybody related to the alternate scene. It originated around the late 80s to mid 90s grunge scene. Started by bands like Alice in chans, The Melvins and Nirvana. The word grunge was first used by a critic trying to describe the rawness of the sound these bands created. It somehow stuck, and over the years was transformed into the steriotype of grunger.

He's a grunger. He wears grunger clothes.
