ghetto 

When an impoverished coloured person (generally black,hispanic)living in the projects is talking about his neighbourhood he refers to a "ghetto"; a ramshackle place with scant electricity and running water.

Living in the ghetto is associated with many dangers such as becoming the victim of violent crime (mugging,shooting,stabbing,etc.), or being exposed to drugs or prostitution cartels. Unfortunately most people who live in the ghetto are unable to escape from this life and better themselves because poverty is a viscious cycle.

When white people pay for this experience they call it "camping" Camping also has many associate dangers such as animal attack,shot by a redneck,etc.

Shaqabar doesn't shower because he lives in the ghetto...he doesn't have running water in his house.

Don't mind embracing your race without apology of not having as much as others. Standing proud with no shame of relatives and ability to appreciate people for who they are without judgement or trying to act like someone you are not.

1. "Ghetto" If the only way I can see a new movie is buying a bootleg movie 3 for $10 from the local crack head my neighborhood and showing others with pride of the bargain you just made.

2. Inviting everybody to your place for a cookout and you have dug a hole in the yard for a big crab pot with crabs, neckbones, corn, sausage, eggs and shrimp then you ghetto.
