Corvallis Gypsy

A campus gypsy exclusive to Oregon State University in Corvallis. These people migrate to OSU to find parties and freeload on alcohol, especially during Halloween. Masses of them can be seen wandering the streets during this time of year, searching for shelter to spread diseases and lay their eggs. Usually from the city of Eugene but can also come from Portland, West Linn, and Oregon City.

To look out for and guard a particular area from thieves. The area does not need to contain especially valuable items. A common task usually delegated to a friend when having a house party, also the primary responsibility for mall security personnel.

Hey Bill, I need you to be on gypsy watch tonight, last time I had a house party my fondue set went missing. Make sure it doesn't happen again.

Line Gypsy

1. A person who, when there are multiple lines for one thing (i.e; cash registers, ticket counters,etc...), move from line to line because one is going faster than the line they were previously standing in.

2. Same as the above, however, they have someone stand in another line just in case one moves faster than the other and they can jump in with their friend.

George is such a line gypsy.
