Talking Points

A point someone in an argument usually uses because it is considered a strong point.

The name of a JackBox Party Game, Found on Pack 7, where players must give a presentation (Power Point style), but the slides except the first (which is written by someone else based on a prompt and choosen by the presenter) are random or (for images) choosen by another player (the assistant).

The point is you pick a first slide, and then try to make shit up as you go along the way, hilarity ensues.

Adam points

"Adam points" is a point system Used by the leader in the Bookworm Club and is an importan aspect of the club. The most points a member has obtain is infinity points, after the crazy event of him the member fighting the book worm leader, Adam. If you want to use this point system you need to join the Bookworm Club

Life Points

A resource from the japanese playing card game Yu-Gi-Oh. They start at 800 and if they drop to zero you lose the duel.
Life Points can also be used for card costs and maintenance. Two card examples are Solemn Judgment (One-time payment of half of your current) and Imperial Order (700 LP per turn or the card is destroyed).
A few monsters' offensive and defensive stats are also dependant on LP. Two examples based on your own LP are Meklord Emperor Granel and the Dinomorphia monsters. One example taking the opponent's LP as attack is Endless Decay (when summoned, ATK = half of the opponent's LP).

Duelist A: I discard Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring to negate your Maxx "C".
Duelist B: Chain Link 2, I activate Solemn Judgment and pay the Life Point cost to negate your Ash Blossom.
Duelist A: Chain Link 3, I activate Seven Tools of the Bandit by paying 1000 Life Points to negate your Solemn Judgment.
Duelist B: Motherf... I don't have a response.

I'm not letting you make that point

If it was don't mess with our kids your kids would have stopped getting molested and killed you fucking assholes. Is that another mass stabbing? Do we ban knifes or is maybe something else causing that? Because you're going to blame a broader systemic problem but I'm here to tell you exactly what you're doing that would cause ME to stab up your kids. So did waiting until after HE did it help you in any way?

Hym "I'm not letting you make that point with me. So did you try to make it with him? Cause the was another mass stabbing so it CLEARLY isn't the guns. The last shooting only had 2 victims. This stabbing had 4. Do we ban the knives? No because that would be fucking stupid. He probably had some kind of individualized problem that he was incapable or obstructed from solving.
