The act of carelessly driving up someone's bills. Can be a side effect of someone mining crypto at your house, flushing the toilet a lot, using your internet, etc..

When done with the intent to drive up someone's bills, referred to as bill busting.

Phil: One of my friends keeps mining crypto at my house!
Sarah: Sounds like you've got an issue with bill rocketing.
