Get the ugly high schooler kid mug.When you have a summer vacation house share you usually have 3-4 weeks with the group by August in the house and fights happen out of nowhere and people start to get annoying for no reason or for good reason without ever resolving the issues. This is called the August Uglies, the house has gotten past the honeymoon phase and personalities start to annoy each other for no reason even if people have known each other for a long time.
Person 1- I am so annoyed that she did that. We told her we were going to go get a drink and be right back and then she leaves and disappears. Now she's mad at us?

This definition hasn't anything to do with one's physical appearance. However it can be used more generally, like talking about a person who cussed you out, talking ugly to you. Another example is when you have to tell something the ugly truth, like saying " I don't mean to be ugly but..."
Then there's of the definition of not being considered aesthetically appealing, repulsive
Redd Foxx came up with all kinds of jokes on Sanford and Son, his character Fred Sanford firing off incessant remarks about Esther, being ugly. It has become a staple, especially in African American humour in TV and movies, for example Madea's brother Joe talking about a battery acid chemical peal to scrub all that ugly off her face.
