Named after the Regular Show character, Mordecai. Used to describe a guy who is too afraid to ask a girl out.

Rigby: Ugh! All you do is text CJ. Just tell her you like her and quit Pulling a Mordecai.

Mordecai: What?! That's not a thing!

Rigby: "I'm Mordecai, I never make a move and I don't know what to do with my hands". You've been doing this for years.

Pulling a Turco

Pulling a Turco is an excuse of the lamest proportions. This is typically an excuse given at the last minute after multiple promises of coming to Jiu-Jitsu class and/or an open mat. Examples of pulling a Turco can be any or all of the following :

1) Work got the best of me today.

2) Wish I could make it but I’m buried in work.

3) I have to babysit my parakeet.

4) Wish I could come to class today but I have to wash my ferret.

5) Sorry guys, can’t make it today because I got pulled into a meeting.

Training partner 1: Open mat is on fire today, where is Tom? He promised he would come today.

Training partner 2: Five minutes before open mat started, he told us that he couldn’t come because he had to wash his poodle. So lame.

Training partner 1: What a douche, he’s totally pulling a Turco.

Training partner 2: Yep, he’ll be in a white belt forever.
