Goth Poseur

A goth Poseur is a person who just dresses up as a goth, just for the attention. When they go out, they spend ages covering themselves in white makeup and eyeliner, and when they're lazing around inside, listening to Gwen Stefani, they wear a pink tracksuit.
They dont understand about goths,or that it is a lifestyle. They just want the stares. And you dont understand goths either if you think that all of them worship satan, cut themselves, and cry endlessly.

Poseur goths do it for the stares. Proper goths do it because thats just how they want to live and dress, and dont give a shit about what anyone else thinks.

Goth poseur : I'm looking for a DAAAARK picture to put up in my DAAAAARK bedroom, because my life is DAAAARKNESS!!!!

Goth: Hey..you were in here yesterday, buying some fake Burberry crap, right?

poser punk

almost every1 who has written a definition on this website for "poser Punk." they are saying that being punk has no fashion code and you arent defined by the music you listin to. yet they call people posers for shopping at hot topic and listining to SP and GC. i personally dont like those bands but that dusnt mean that someone who does is a poser. every1 says that being punk is about being your self and not caring about what others think of them. how do you know that people who like those stores and bands arent being them selves? your creating a stereo type and a fashion code just by posting those definitions. and you are doing EXACTLY what you say punks dont do. stop being so judgemental. music and clothes dont define a person. only their personality does.

poser punks are judgemental on other peoples clothing, music style, and other stupid things like that. honestly, who cares what a person wears or listins to.

myspace pose

The pose someone does when taking a photograph of themselves with their webcam for their myspace page. Religiously overused by emos, goths and the like. Clearly you will not be accepted as normal without performing the pose.
Instructions on how to create the my space pose:
1. Position or hold your webcam above you so that it is pointed down at you from a high angle.
2. Look up at the camera with your eyes without lifting your head, because otherwise you will not be accepted by your peers if you use your neck.
3. Don't smile. This rule MUST be obeyed. Extra points if you look upset or woeful.
4. Take the photo, then make it black and white on your photo editor.
5. Post it and watch your popularity boom.

Myspace poses can also be found on similar networking sites such as bebo and msn.

I've never been popular on myspace. Maybe if I do the myspace pose I will finally be accepted for who I am.
