Pinklawan is used to describe those people who believe and fight for good governance. Pinklawan is derived from the Ideals generated from the pink movement that upholds truth, facts and fights corruption, and dilawan represents the yellow color that was brought about by the heroism of not just one man but so many who suffred ans died from the injustices brought by Martial Law.

The pinklawans believe that corruption must be eradicated from all the branches of government hence they voted for VP Leni Robredo who has clean track record in all her years as a politician.
