It is a well established fact that the north finished on the winning side of every war ever fought, including the alamo and Pearl Harbour.

The tell tales signs that you're in the north are gravy, bitter, violence, streets paved with gold and battered housewives.

Ooh Daddy, please can we move up to Sunderland, so at least my kids have a chance of being Northern!

Northeasterner

Someone from the northeast corner of the United States (East of Ohio and North of Maryland). Common traits include snobbish elitism, thinking 85 degrees is extreme heat, thinking people in the middle of the country either live in destitute or in the Wild West, being over-the-top and irrational in their sports fandom (particularly Eagles fans), having terrible food tastes, thinking those living in a rural area live in the wilderness, and more

They can be identified by their abnormal accents (especially those from Boston). Synonyms include yankee, east coaster, and New Englander.

Northeasterner: You said you’re from Tulsa, right? You guys still ride hours everywhere? I think I saw that in a documentary.

Other person: Wow, you’re such a northeasterner. You’re so out of touch with your fellow Americans.

Northern Hick

The rare type of hick, redneck, and hillbilly located in the northern U.S.A. They have very close family ties to the soutern united states. They don't have much of a southern accent, but can fluently speak and comprehend it. They do not hang a confederate flag in fear of being shot or arrested. Most northern hicks are located in the states of washington, oregon, and idaho. They live in cities with a population or about 20,000. The cities are usually mostly composed of these northern hicks, so most people around there are wearing plaid and overalls. Northern Hicks do not own a rusty old truck that they drive around, they have the biggest truck you can buy, but it has to be very clean. Northern Hicks are truly the same as the original hick, redneck, and hillbilly, at heart, but their ways are set back by the cruelty of the city life...

Northern Hicks can be called a "sophisticated" version of the Southern Hick.

Northeast Texas

Region of Texas which has more in common with Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Some people call it a "wasteland", but its actually a peaceful and beautiful part of the state. Main cities are Longview and Tyler.
