A group of girls who are often to fugly to make the cheerleading squad.

Those girls will never make cheerleading, they are in the color guard unit for sure.

Color Betty — a betty who embraces her slay the day personality while unapologetically draping her life in color. Her make-up, her clothes, her possessions, her way of life is bold and beautiful because she chose to make it that way for herself.

color-line duality

An aesthetic (cyclical) theory of history in which colors and lines alternate in emphasis depending on a medium's stage in material history.

Begins with lines of colors on white surfaces (paintings) in the Romantic era to lines of single colors on black surfaces (neon) in the modern (industrial) era, to black lines created by contrapositive primary colors (pop realism) in the postmodern era to white lines on pastel colors (New Wave) in late postmodernism to white lines created by recursive (self-referencing) colors in hypermodernism.

Color-line duality is an aesthetic phenomenon that presages the ascendance of aesthetic divergence over historical materialism as a theory of linear time.

Color Guard

The group of girls(sometimes boys) that were either not popular enough, not skinny enough, not limber enough, or not bitchy enough for cheer leading. Often seen as the bands add-on, the color guard is either terribly bad and thinks their hotter than the forth of July, or so good that they can only think about becoming better. (These ones usually have more than three guard captains/coaches and are either college or professional color guards)

Hey did you see the color guard at our performance last night?

What's that?

Their the chicks that throw guns around durring the show.

Oh...yeah, they kinda sucked...

A game some guys (doesn't matter what age) play where they try to see the color of a pretty girls thong(underwear) for the first time that day.

(at lunch in school)

Greg: you seen the color of the day yet?
Will: no, still looking.
Greg: wait, BLUE! With a red whale tail!
Will: where?!
Greg: bent over at the vending machine!
