Haji Cart

Haji cart (ha-gee.cart) n. Any of the many food carts that are found on the street corners of virtually any major city throughout the world. Haji carts are operated and sometimes owned by dirty 'hajis' and sell overpriced, unsanitary food e.g. hot dogs, shishkabobs, pretzels, etc. The only time Haji cart food is decent is when the food is Halal -in which case the food has to be held to the standards of their own kind.

I got food poisoning from the haji cart!

The formal term in the United Airlines training manual for the removal of unruly, unconscious, or otherwise unwilling paying passengers from flights; typically by dragging them down the aisle by the arms or legs as one would maneuver the beverage cart through the plane.

Sorry, sir, but we have overbooked the flight and you're going to have to spend the night in the terminal. Now get out of your seat or we're going to punch you in the face and give you the beverage cart!

carte blanc

term to describe the short-term separation of a set of lovers. when 'carte blanc' is called by either person, both of the people in the relationship are free to do whatever, and more so whoever, they wish. it is different from 'talking time off' or a separation, break-up, etc... in that the possibility of negative consequences are slim.

My girlfriend called carte blanc this week, so I can have fun fucking whoever I want, and she will do the same.
