Career Sovereignty

Career sovereignty is when your job doesn’t own you—you own your skills, income, and choices. You can walk away, pivot, or build something new without panicking. The opposite of being career-sovereign is being one bad meeting away from an identity crisis.

speed cartel

A speed cartel is formed when the cars in front of you on all lanes are going slower than the general speed of traffic creating a disruption. The decision by the cars to go slow may be intentional or unintentional, but can prevent an opportunity to go around them causing you to also slow down to their speed. This should not be confused with an actual drug cartel that deals speed.
