Crazy Time

There comes a point in an argument where your opponent runs out of logical material to use against you, yet refuses to conceed. This is the moment you enter Crazy Time. Men will recognise it as the part where women start yelling, through furious tears, about things that happened years previously, and putting a whole new spin on them, then telling the man exactly what he meant by what he said. Except it's rarely anything anyone would ever mean, or even think. Women will know it's Crazy Time when men start saying things like "I'm ending this argument right now!" and then continue bellowing about how it cannot be allowed to go on, and arguing over why it needs to be finished. Men can never finish an argument. They can only halt it "for now". The very same argument will be referenced and recommenced during the next period of Crazy Time.

Jennifer started to cry and shout at the same time, virtually incomprehensible wails about how last year, Doug HAD given her a funny look when she said hello to her ex, and that he had basically called her a whore when he commented on how nice it was that they were on speaking terms after all these years. It wasn't what he said, you understand, it was what he MEANT that made all the difference, and THAT is how Doug knew that they were in Crazy Time, yet again.

Time Sink

A term used for videogames that require a great amount of time to be invested in them. A defining characteristic of a time sink is that due to the immersiveness of the game, the time spent playing these games feels small when in reality, the gamer has been playing for hours.

Do NOT play Civilization 4 or Oblivion. Those games are such time sinks that when you finsih, you'll be paying for your next game with your retirement checks.

this one time

Derives from the ever popular movie american pie. as in: "this one time at band camp." But now has more wide range of usage. Guys who are usually stoners or alcoholics use this term to reflect on one or more experiences they've had while under the influence. And wish to use this term to enlighten us all about the joys and wonders of "trppin"

Stoner Dude: This one time me and Bob were totally trippin out in the back alley way behind Fry's. Then all of a sudden we here these sirens, so we run. And then we just keep runnin and runnin till we reach this babes house and theres like 8 naked chicks in this hot tub. and we just went back there and then i checked my roley. it was already 7 o'clock. past my curfew. my probation officer would kill me. so i had to bounce on home. but man it was trippy.

Closing Time

Closing Time was Tom Waits' debut album, from 1973. It held twelve beautiful tracks, and lasted a great forty-five minutes. Some highlights from the album are Ol' 55, Ice Cream Man, and Grapefruit Moon. The music relies heavily on Waits' exceptional piano-playing skills, and his vocals.
