A hood Asian or Ghasian (Ghetto Asian) is an Asian descent who was raised in the hood. Usually, an Asian who was born in areas like New York, Harlem, Compton, Inglewood, The Bronx, etc. They will usually hang around with more African Americans, Hispanics, anyone who was also brought up in the hood alongside with them. Instead of Asians talking in those stereotypical accents that most people describe them talking in, they would more likely speak to you in the most hoodish way possible. The most common Asians who would be brought up this way is usually, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and sometimes Filipino, also most of these hood Asians would have one of the most Americanized names with an Asian last name that's how you know they're from the hood or some other neighborhood in America that is not their own.

Someone who is “hood white” adopts the speech, style, and mannerisms commonly associated with life in rougher neighborhoods, often blending elements of hip-hop, street slang, and a tough, street-savvy demeanor into their identity.
