an Emo kid is someone who listens to Emo, Screamo.
By really understanding this Music, even before reading the genre (on the net), well that wuold make him emotional.
what im trying to say is that by understanding Emo or Screamo Music makes you an emotional person.
by saying Emotional I mean someone who is in touch with his feelings, not that he is only depressed!!!(he could or not be).
if someone is emotional and doesnt listen to emo that means he is not emo but is an emotional person..
emo doesnt stand for emotional music (almost all music is emotional) but it stands for EMOTIONAL (hardocore) PUNK ROCK
(NOT ALL EMO SONGS ARE DEPRESSING, but emotionally happy,sad,Angry,etc...) by saying this i dont want to say tht punk rock isnt emotional but EMO is based on shouting out loud emotions...
THTS HOW I SEE IT...
(about the scene, well choose i think its cool so il semi go for it, u dont like it, well look at veda skyes,chasing victory,etc... VERY NORMAL PEOPLE)
about kissing guys, well NOT EVERYONE DOES IT, if they do so well they have their reasons (emo is not about kissing guys)
make-up:well thts always the trend part (like it or not u choose if put it on or not)
i wont say anything about the posers 'cause those are everywhere.
EMOS do NOT care of showing their emotions to everyone.
plz dont identify EMOS for fags, or weirdos... if u do well its ur life...

Someone who overtly tries to be different -- through their looks, outlandish statements, etc. If you're an English Literature major you definitely understand what this is.
Prof: Well, what underlying themes do you think are in Pound's poem?
Granola Kid: I think that this one single line stands for the political outrage at the time, and also the feminist view during that time. By the way, did you notice my purple hair weaved into dreads. It stands for my femininity, and also I was so high the other day I thought it would be a good idea.

noun informal; A hipster. A sub culture of person who's love for quinoa, tight chinos and being able to say the liked something before it was cool defines them as a person. They can usually be found in over priced cafes ordering a complicated coffee served in the skin of an avocado.

scene kids can be male or female.Usually seen 'where the scene is' wearing black and/or neon colours.
Girls;
ADORE the bright coloured eye shadow, black eye liner is very popular along with hair bows and other accessories.
Hair is usually STRAIGHT,choppy with bangs. Its is dark with a few bright colours that jump out at you.
skinny jeans of any colour are popular along with funky belts band t's and hoodys.They like cute stuff such as animé, hello kitty and other random stuff. They wear usually flats shoes (converse dollys vans or even dc's)
beads,piercings and especially pearls a common in scenes.
Boys;
eye liner is even popular with the boys, as is the bangs.The boys hair are usually shorter than the girls,still choppy with the colours.Skinny jeans usually darker colours funky belts,hoodys and band t's are common too. Dc's vans just flat shoes are acceptable in male scenes. piercings and tatoos are the norm too.
scene kids are generally nice people,known for being very hyper and as said 'where the scene is' into alot of different types of music and like going to concerts.They use words and phrases such as 'RAWR' 'you are the sex' and other funny phrases.very out oging and confident,never mix-up a scene kid with an emo. thats a no go
this description isnt telling you WHAT to be like if you are scene,its just the general look and stuff.i in no way mean to judge or tell people how to behave
hope this helps :D <3 xxx

Usually a group of kids born in 2006-2008 that go to Sandton City almost every weekend just to fight other kids, they can be seen wearing: Jordan 4's, Jordan 1's or Air Force 1's; Baggy Pants or Jeans; Trucker Caps; Shirts from Cotton on or H&M.
Sandton kids are also familiarised with blurry pics in which they normally caption "h4rd" on their Instagram posts. They can be heard speaking using register such as: "Luh" "Shoota" "twizzy" "cosy" "gang" "Brody" , "goons" "slatter" "hard" "Cold asf"

James: "Eyy man you heard that a group of Sandton kids were fighting yesterday by KFC?"
Bob: "Yeah bro I heard, apparently they set up fights on WhatsApp group chats and meet at Sandton just to fight and embarass themselves"
Roxy: "Ugh, typical Sandton Kids"
just satire :)
