Interrupting Text

When your having a text conversation with another person and your responding to what they sent and in mid-sentence, another text from the same person appears

James: "What are you gonna tell her?"
Alex: "hold on i'm txting it in-*txt message*- damn it she just sent me an Interrupting Text. Now how am I gonna respond?"

slinging text

communication between two people in quick succession (generally, a real time discussion) via IM, text message, e-mail, or some other form of text-only communication.

This term is often used as a contrast to other kinds of communication such as a phone call, skype video conference, or just getting up and walking over to your buddy's dorm room.

Guy: Hey, babe, I've been at my computer all day working on my paper that was due tonight, I really don't feel like slinging text around right now.

Text Com

Com being short for communication. text com is when 2 people stood or sat down next to each communicating via text message. This is either done when in a place where you can't hear what person is saying or where theres a group of more than three people and 2 people and want to keep the things they are saying a secret.

Bill: Sally and John keep on texting. I wonder who they are texting.
